Indonesia has
a well-developed tourism industry. The most famous
destination in Indonesia are island of Bali, Borobudur –
one of the most famous Buddhist temples in the world,
built in VII and IX century, Mount Bromo – an active
volcano in the east of Island of Java, Krakatoa (also
known as Krakatau) – the most famous Indonesian volcano.
Its popularity is because of the eruption in 1883, which
was heard in cities that are situated thousands of
kilometres away from it as well as one of the deadliest
in human history. Other famous landmarks are Gili
Islands and Komodo National Park, where the biggest
reptile on Earth lives – Komodo dragon.
